Macmillan Cancer Support -Shropshire’s One-Stop-Shop for support for those suffering from Cancer

Last week Jean Garner the Macmillan Engagement Lead for Shropshire very kindly gave a talk to the SRS Trustees on the support available from MacMillan Cancer Support in Shropshire. It was revealing to hear that MacMillan provides a one-stop-shop for cancer suffers and their families. The main base in Shropshire is the MacMillan Cancer Information and Support Centre at the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital. The range of support is considerable and tailored to each individual and family’s needs. Anyone who is aware of a person or family affected by cancer should contact the Information Centre.
