Talking Mental Health with North Shropshire College Students

Recently, Shropshire Rural Support delivered a talk to 37 first-year agriculture and equine students at North Shropshire College.
The session covered important topics around mental health, exploring what can cause stress and how to access support when needed. Some of the conversations were challenging, but they helped students reflect and rethink their understanding of wellbeing in rural communities.
By engaging young people early in their careers, SRS continues to raise awareness of mental health and provide guidance for managing stress in the agricultural and equine sectors.
